• Amora Tapae Hotel Chiang Mai Thailand : Will come back again!

  Good value for the price. The location is good. Not far from night bazaar. Not far from old town. The view from our room was nice. Breakfast was ok. Other hotels offer a greater variety. The design of the restaurant is a bit boring. But will come again... • Amora Tapae Hotel Chiang Mai Thailand : Nothing special

  Although I can make no complaints about the hotel, it didn`t impress me either. Much of the design and furniture has a `could be anywhere` quality about it. My room did have a good view of the old city and Doi Suthep, but that is about the only thing...   The hotel location was good and rooms were well kept. Not my first choice again and the cost was little higher than I thought it should be. Interenet here was horrendously expensive but just to the right of the hotel was a tiny cafe with unlimited Internet...   Room fairly basic, but clean, a good size and all we needed. Good selection at breakfast. A few minutes walk to bars and restaurants, and all the sights of the old city. Also pleanty of street vendors nearby in the old city selling really scrummy food...   This Hotel is decent enough, but the rooms are a bit tired. The pool is always in shadow, and thus was surprisingly cold even on a 33 degree day. Decent location near the Tapae gate.
